| The <PRODUCT_INFO> node has multiple child tags with only the <TOY_NUM> tag being required. The <TOY_NUM> tag (along with the optional <DASH_CODE> tag) is the database key columns that define a product in Speed-Quote. Please see the {{:mattel:mattelspeedquotefields.xls|}} excel file for complete information of all fields. | | ==== Special Tags ==== |
| |
| | === Boolean Values === |
| |
| | Some fields such as <WARRANTY_INCL> are boolean fields. The values for these tags can be the following: |
| |
| | * true, t, yes, y, 1 - mean true |
| | * false, f, no, n, 0 - mean false |
| | |
| | === Assortment Information === |
| | |
| | Assortment information is added to the xml file by adding an <ASSORTMENT_INFO> tag and <ASSRTCHILD_XXX> child tags for an assortment products. For example: |
| | |
| | <code> |
| | <ASSORTMENT_INFO> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_STYLENUM>12345</ASSRTCHILD_STYLENUM> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_DESC>Assortment 1</ASSRTCHILD_DESC> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_UPC>12345678901234</ASSRTCHILD_UPC> |
| | </ASSORTMENT_INFO> |
| | <ASSORTMENT_INFO> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_STYLENUM>55445</ASSRTCHILD_STYLENUM> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_DESC>Assortment 2</ASSRTCHILD_DESC> |
| | <ASSRTCHILD_UPC>12345678955567</ASSRTCHILD_UPC> |
| | </ASSORTMENT_INFO> |
| | </code> |
| | |
| | === Address Links === |
| | |
| | The preferred method of including addresses is to include a .addr file alongside the .xml file for import. More information can be found on the [[mattel:address_file|XML Import for Mattel Speed-Quote]] page. |
| | |
| | === How to Import === |
| | |
| | Place the xml file and the addr file into the SQEnterprise/Admin/XMLImport/ folder on the server computer. Speed-Quote will create a new database or update an existing database using the basename of the xml file (e.g. MAPSdb.xml will create a database called MAPSdb). |
| | |
| | The XML Import task schedule is set using the Speed-Quote Administration Tool as per our online manual: [[http://www.apptastic.com/manual/events.htm]] |
