Copy Information when Entry Sheet is locked

The Master Entry Sheet (MES) has now been set to Read-Only. Speed-Quote Users can still view the information on the MES and can copy any information from the MES to use in other programs. How copying works changes depending on where the information is on the MES.

Most Controls

For most controls you can simply select the control and press Ctrl-C to copy the information. If none of the text is selected then the entire formatted text will be copied. If only some of the text is selected then only the selected text will be copied.

For example, “A big Yellow Bulldozer with heavy duty treads.” will be copied from the following control when Ctrl-C is pressed.

but only “Yellow Bulldozer” will be copied from this control.

Picture Controls

To copy information from a Picture Control you will need to Right-Click on the picture and select “Copy”

Address Controls

To copy information from an Address Control you will need to Right-Click on the address and select one of three options:

  1. Copy the address line you clicked on
  2. Copy the Company or Contact information
  3. Copy the Entire Address

Dimension Controls

You can now change the dimension units to get a conversion to different units just as if the MES was not Read-Only.
