Why do my reports take so long to run?

Reports are usually fast to create, but may be very slow to display, especially if the report contains many products. A feature was added to SpeedQuote to allow you to bypass the display of the report in SpeedQuote and save the report directly to Excel or PDF. Do the following in order to set this option:

  1. Open the Speed-Quote Preferences by pressing the F12 key. You can also open the Speed-Quote Preferences by clicking on the “File Menu → Preferences”.
  2. Select the “Reports” tab
  3. Choose either:
    • “Save the report directly to an excel file.”
    • “Save the report directly to a PDF file.”
  4. Press “OK” when finished
