Installer Error

Speed-Quote Setup Wizard ended prematurely

On some systems the Install Wizard will not complete and gives an error message that says:

Speed-Quote Setup Wizard ended prematurely.

If this occurs please follow these instructions to upgrade Speed-Quote:

Make sure Speed-Quote is not running.
Open the “Apptastic Registry Editor” by clicking “Start Menu → Programs → Speed-Quote Enterprise → Apptastic Registry Editor”.

This is hidden.

Open the “Plug-Ins\Update” folder in the left hand side of the window.
Change the value of “AltUpdateSite” to “up13.apptastic.org” by double-clicking on “AltUpdateSite”. If you do not see “AltUpdateSite” you can create a “String Value” by right-clicking on the right hand side of the window.
Open the “ClientPrefs” folder in the left hand side of the window.
Change the value of “LastUpdateTime” to 0.
Start Speed-Quote and when it tells you it needs to run an update, press OK.
