Speed-Quote uses many different files and has a very specific folder structure as follows:

• Root Folder (usually “C:\Program Files (x86)\SQEnterprise\” or “C:\Program Files (x86)\SQToysRUs\” )
  • Admin Folder holds program settings, backups, etc
  • Databases Folder holds all the databases available to SpeedQuote. Each database is made up of many files held in a folder named <DatabaseName>.SQ5
  • Pictures Folder holds all the pictures available to SpeedQuote. Each picture folder holds jpeg files for all the pictures of a particular database named <DatabaseName>.PC5
  • Programs Folder holds the most recent programs and libraries needed to run SpeedQuote.
  • System Folder
    • bin Folder is the folder used by the updater to pull updated programs and libraries
    • forms Folder holds the templates and rates
    • News folder holds any news that needs to be shown to the user
    • Preferences holds individual user defaults and preferences
