Set Export Filename
By default a template is exported using the Retailers name as the base filename (e.g. a TOYS R US: Import Quote Sheet may be exported as “Toys R Us.xlsx”). The “Set Export Filename” feature allows the user to set the base filename used for each template. This can be used to make the name more explicit such as “Toys R Us Import” or to add a timestamp onto each export such as “TRU Import - 2016-05-23_11-57am”.
To set a new base filename make sure the template you wish to export is loaded and then follow these directions:
1. Choose the Format Menu → Set Export Filename… menu item.
2. In the dialog window that appears type the name (without any file extension) in the white edit box. A preview will appear below the edit box.
3. Use the following special letters inside of “squiggly braces” (“{” and “}”) to format the current time within the filename. Each time a quote is exported it will reformat the export name to use the current export time. Press OK to save this new name or Cancel to revert to the previous name.
