Multiple Client Installations on a Single Computer
You may want to set up a “test” SpeedQuote server and a “production” SpeedQuote server. Certain people in the company may want to be able to connect to both servers. Do NOT simply change the client software to point at the other server. When the SpeedQuote client software connects to a SpeedQuote server all programs and data get synchronized between the Client software and Server software. You will need to have separate client software installations on that computer.
The safest way to create a second installation of a SpeedQuote client is a manual installation:
Copy the entire SQEnterprise folder to another location and rename it. e.g. SpeedQuote_Test
